My main focus for the stamps was making ones that weren't available on DA yet. They're simple stamps, but I did try to make an effort in making them look nice.

Read the manga or GTFO.
...I kid. xD
I've lately (and lately meaning the past year) been drop kicking anime left and right. If I do find an anime that I love, I love it whole heartedly...or for the sake of mocking it (like Gankutsuou - The art's beautiful, story is full of roflcopters)
I'm pro-manga if anything. But if a show doesn't have amanga beforehand, like Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, then the anime usually has higher precedence over the manga that follows. Mainly because they don't have to keep up with the expectations of anime versus manga.
...oh, wait...then there's Hellsing...I like both the OVA and manga equally...

i like both for diff reasons. manga for the extra info not mentioned in the anime, and the anime for music and (hopefully) lovely VA's to add to the mood. but i like some manga over anime altogether, like Death Note. artwork is suuuu much more appealing to me than the anime, but the anime is cool, too.
ramble. will use when i get a sub.

Yes, typically the manga is better unless the anime came first.
There is really something about original canon that is just better
(I still watch anime on occasion, but usually old series, due to the fact that they are better, there are fewer series that are good in general anymore;_
The FMA anime is good however

Rather than curse the darkness, I could light a candle... with a little luck, I could torch the place.
The 25th episode had me screaming at the TV "DO IT DO IT" when Franz and the Count were like, "Fan service tiems, otay? FAKE OUT."
Oh gosh. xD
The book was completely different. >__< Did the count leave his money to anyone in the anime? o__0 IT WAS THAT ONE GUY WHO WORKED FOR HIM.
BOOK SPOILERS
In the book he left it to Maximillian. o___0 And he runs off with Haydee. xD
